Great Games to Play at a Baby Shower

As with any other party or unofficial function, a baby shower should have games for the people in attendance to play. The games that are chosen are a good icebreaker and they keep the guests entertained for long periods. The games chosen should be as engaging as possible but they should be simple enough not to tax the players. They could be static games that do not require any movement or they could be games that require not only movement but also physical activity that could be strenuous. When picking the games in question it is up to the host to put in as much flavor as possible and to make sure the games are not only interesting but also entertaining. Even before the games have begun, the host could set the mood by serving any snacks in diaper candy dishes. These is imply felt that has been folded into the shape of a diaper, solidified by being dipped in wax then used as the snack holder of choice.

There are many games to choose from and one of the more interesting ones is the scavenger hunt. Though this is an old game, it can be tweaked in different ways. Instead of the guests, following a bunch of clues in order to come up with one final object they could look for several everyday items that may not be too obvious. Examples include looking for a red ribbon (found mainly as page markers in different books), looking for a 200$ charge slip, a mirror and so on. The items on the scavenger hunt should look as simple as possible to find though they should not be. A difficult item to find would be the picture of a bird mainly found as a hologram on credit cards and so on.

Another game that can be played is gum art. This mainly involves toothpicks and lots of gum. As the name suggests the gum is used to make the art on pieces of cardboard and manila and the most creative option wins.

The HA HA game is done while lying down. The first person in the group lays their hand across the belly of the second person and says HA! The second person then does the same but says two HA HA's and so on. When a person giggles, they are out of the game but the last person to giggle is the winner of the game. This is not only easy to play but it is fun for all. Last but not least, there is the memory game. In this case, a tray that is full of different items is passed around the room for the guests to look at. The person that is able to recall the most number of items win the prize for the game that may be all the items on the tray. For any baby shower to be fun the games that are being played should be focused on giving the guests maximum enjoyment.
