Funny Baby Shower Game Ideas
Although not all baby showers need to be humorous, the funnier the
game the better. The baby shower does not need to be a serious occasion
but it should be a party where the inner child in the guests is allowed
to come through and shine for this one time without worrying about what
people think. Among the funny games that can be played at a baby shower
is the Banana Olympics. The main aim of this game is for the teams to
get to the finish line using the banana as the baton of choice. The
first way this can be done is by putting the banana under ones armpits
and hopping on one foot all the way to the finish line. If the Banana
should drop, they should go back to the starting point and start again.
The contestants are allowed to rest during the relay but the first team
to complete the task wins. For the same game, the banana can be held
using the knees and the guests hop all the way to the finish line. All
the contestants in the team must complete the relay before they are
declared winners. The third way the relay can be done is by rolling the
banana from the beginning to the end. Each teammate should roll the
banana all the way to the finish line before their team can be declared
winners. There are many variations to the Banana Olympics including
rolling on the banana for all the teammates before the task is
completed. The variations are entirely in the hands of the host who
makes up the rules as they go.
Big foot on the other hand involves the use of rubber boots for a relay.
The group is divided into different teams that have to run from the
start to finish in rubber boots. The boots should be big enough for the
contestants to wear them on top of the shoes they came in and they could
be gardening or fishing boots depending on what is currently available.
This makes the relay harder but more fun for the host and the guests
alike. Once they get to the end, they take off the boots and hand them
over to the next teammate who hen runs and hands them to the other
teammate.
As with all competitions, the first team to cross the finish line wins.
The blanket carry involves five team members. The obstacle course is set
and the main aim of the game is to complete it with four-member s
carrying the fifth on the blanket. Once the first round has been
completed then the person in the middle is switched until all the
teammates have been carried on the blanket. The first team to carry all
the contestants on the blanket to the finish line is the winner. Baby
shower games should focus o fun and creativity as much s possible. If
the game makes the guests laugh even harder the better.
