Easy Baby Shower Games
Dress the Mummy. This is a game that can be played by both adults and
children. The main agenda of the game is to completely cover one of the
teammates with toilet paper in the fastest way possible. The teammates
must go around the mummy and they should pass the toilet paper from one
person to another to be able to do so. Frozen T's on the other hand
depends on not only the team’s creativity but also thinking power. Each
team is supplied with a frozen t-shirt that they are to unfreeze and put
on one of the teammates. The team that gets this done first wins. There
are several ways this can be done and the creativity of the team is what
gets them to the finish fastest. There are teams that may run the
t-shirts under water and there are those that may put them in the
microwave to thaw faster.
Another easy baby shower game that can be played is the scavenger hunt.
The items that are being scavenged could be anything from the actual
prizes to the different items that are at the host disposal. For a
variation of the game, colored ice cubes can be used in the scavenger
hunt and the first team to find all the items is declared the winner.
Rumor or broken telephone as it is known in some circles involves the
repetition of one message from one person to another. The first person
on the team is given the message, they pass it on to the other person,
and when it gets to the final person, it is written on a black board.
The team that gets as close to the original message as possible wins.
The string toss can be used as an icebreaker and it is a fun game that
can be played repeatedly. The ball of yarn is given to the first person
and they introduce themselves and are asked 2-3 questions by some
guests. Once the questions have been answered appropriately, the string
is thrown to a different person in the circle while the first person is
still holding on to the end. The same process is then repeated but for
each of the team members the sting is held on to until the process is
complete. This is a good way to know the people attending the shower and
is a simple game.
Another game that is easy is the gum game. This involves several teams,
packs of gum and gloves. The first person opening the gum while wearing
the gloves, taking out a piece of gum and chewing it, plays the game.
The pack and the gloves are then passed to the next person who puts on
the gloves and repeats the process. The first team that completes the
task is declared winner. There are many games that can be played at a
baby shower but the easier they are to understand the better.
